Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) manager Luis Enrique has bid farewell to star player Kylian Mbappe ahead of the Frenchman’s anticipated departure from the club.
Mbappe, who is expected to leave Parc des Princes in the upcoming summer transfer window, has been gradually phased out of the PSG squad by Enrique, receiving fewer minutes of play in recent matches.
Real Madrid is reportedly among the top clubs vying for the 25-year-old’s signature, heightening speculation about his future destination.
Following PSG’s 2-2 draw with Reims on Sunday, in which Mbappe failed to score, Enrique took the opportunity to express his well wishes for the departing player.
“I wish all the best to Kylian Mbappe for his future. He’s a fantastic player and even more so as a person. I really wish him all the best,” Enrique stated during a post-match interview with Prime Video.
