Vitesse Arnhem have completed the signing of Max Clark from Hull City on a three-year deal.
The 22-year-old, described by his new club as a left-back, rejected a contract offer from the Tigers to make a fresh start and joins up with former City boss Leonid Slutsky.

Vitesse have had to pay in the region of £400,000 to City for Clark on a fixed tariff set by FIFA, as the academy graduate’s eight-year association with his hometown club officially ends.
Speaking on the Vitesse website, Clark said; “I am looking forward to working in the Netherlands. The ambitions and way of playing sound promising. In addition, I have worked very well with head coach Leonid Slutsky before.”
Vitesse technical director Marc van Hintum said; “Max is a left back that was coveted by several English clubs in the Championship. We are glad that he has chosen us. Leonid Slutskiy and Max know each other well from their time at Hull City.”
