President Bola Tinubu has officially confirmed the appointment of Adewale Adeniyi as the Comptroller-General (CG) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

This development comes after almost four months of Adeniyi assuming the role of the CG in an acting capacity.

In a statement released by the Director of Information, Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Willie Bassey, on Friday, October 20, 2023, it was announced that Adeniyi’s appointment took effect from October 19, 2023.
