Tinubu Appoints Saviour Enyiekere as NASC Chairman, Names Commission Members

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Saviour Enyiekere as the Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), alongside 12 other members representing Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.

The announcement was made on Thursday in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. According to the statement, Enyiekere will serve a five-year term, which may be renewed.

Before his appointment, Enyiekere, an environmental specialist, served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

President Tinubu also approved the appointment of two commission members from each geopolitical zone, with all members also serving a renewable five-year term.

NORTH WEST

  • Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi
  • Yusuf A. Yusuf Tabuka

NORTH EAST

  • Aminu Ibrahim Malle
  • Alhaji Lawan Maina Mahmud

NORTH CENTRAL

  • Salihu Umar Agboola Balogun

SOUTH WEST

  • Taiwo Olukemi Oluga
  • Afeez Ipeza-Balogun

SOUTH EAST

  • Nnanna Uzor Kalu
