ROONEY
The Manchester United forward has entered a select group of players to record 100 assists in the Premier League after laying on two goals in Sunday’s clash against Swansea City.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the beneficiary of two assists in the first half of Sunday’s match, meaning the England captain joins Ryan Giggs and Frank Lampard in reaching a special mark.
The England captain set up both of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goals in a one-sided first half, as United entered the break 3-0 up at the Liberty Stadium.
Those assists took him past the century mark in league football, a feat that only two other players have managed.
