For the first time since last week’s presidential election, Incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan and President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari have reportedly met.
Reports say the former challengers were in a ‘private’ meeting at the Banquet Hall inside the President’s office on Friday April 3. It is believed that the meeting was about the transitional processes ahead of the May 29 handing over.
Jonathan had told Buhari in the acclaimed telephone call after the presidential polls, that the President-elect should find time to see him to discuss transitional steps.
