Popular American actor, Leonardo DiCaprio finally won Oscar’s ‘Best Actor’ Award after being nominated five other times in the past.
DiCaprio won the award for his work in the movie The Revenant.

This first Oscar win has been a lifelong dream for DiCaprio.
“I grew up in east Los Angeles very close to the Hollywood studio system… so to have parents that allowed me to be a part of this– taking me to auditions—its been my dream since I was 4-years-old,” he said.
The other big winner of the night was Mad Max: Fury Road, which won six awards all in the technical categories.
