The Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, on Tuesday morning resumed duties at the Red chambers of the National Assembly.
Okay.ng understands that this is the first time Kalu is attending a plenary session since he was released from prison.
On his arrival at the Senate, Kalu told reporters that “I just want to thank God for everything that has happened.
“It is the will of God. I want to urge Nigerians to keep hope alive.”
Kalu was released from Kuje Correctional Centre after spending 6 months. He and others were convicted and sentenced for N7.1bn fraud.
