Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Michy Batshuayi on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
The Belgium international spent first half of the season on loan at Valencia where he managed to score one goal in 15 La Liga appearances but was recalled by Chelsea in January.
However, the Belgium international joined Chelsea from Marseille in 2016 for £33.2m.
But has scored seven goals in 32 Premier League appearances including the decisive goal he scored in Chelsea’s 2016-17 Premier League title success.
Commenting about the move, Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish said: “This is a fantastic signing for Crystal Palace”.
“Michy is a player we’ve long admired, and I’m delighted that we’ve finally managed to get him in a red and blue shirt. He will be a magnificent addition to our squad.”
