Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso on Monday met with Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, at the Government House in the Southwest state.
According to a statement from Fayose’s media aide Idowu Adelusi, the two men after the meeting called for the credible and peaceful conduct of the July 14 governorship election in the state.
Kwankwaso, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, addressed the Northern community residents in the state, urging them to live in peace with their hosts.
“Kwankwaso also decried the spate of killings in some parts of the country, noting that it was the responsibility of the government to secure the lives and property of the citizens,” the statement said.
