Kelechi Iheanacho, Nigeria’s international forward, has sealed a loan move to Middlesbrough for the remainder of the current season.
The 28-year-old joins the Sky Bet Championship club from Spanish side Sevilla, where he transferred on a free deal last summer. During his time at Sevilla, Iheanacho made 11 appearances and netted three goals.
This move marks a return to England for Iheanacho, who previously enjoyed a successful stint in the Premier League with Manchester City and Leicester City.
The striker began his English football journey at Manchester City as an 18-year-old, quickly earning recognition as a League Cup winner before making a high-profile switch to Leicester City in 2017.
