Halilu Ibrahim Kundila, a member of the Kano State House of Assembly representing the Bagwai/Shanono Constituency, has passed away.
According to reports, Kundila breathed his last on Saturday night in Kano State. He was subsequently laid to rest on Sunday morning in accordance with Islamic rites.
The news of Kundila’s demise has elicited expressions of grief and condolences from various quarters, including political leaders and constituents.
In a statement issued by Ismail Mudashir, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Jibrin expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased lawmaker.
Jibrin described Kundila as a diligent and hardworking legislator who made significant contributions to the development of Kano State through his service in the state assembly.
The statement read, “Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiuun. I received the shocking news of the death of Hon. Halilu Ibrahim Kundila. Late Hon. Kundila was a hardworking and committed lawmaker who contributed immensely to the development of our state.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, admit him in Jannatul Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
