Jailed rapper Meek Mill’s bail request has been rejected by a judge, who described him as a “flight risk” and “danger to the community”.
The judge, justice Genece Brinkley, questioned the authenticity of Mill’s clean drug test, claiming it was possible he used “Fast Flush” a drug cleansing substance.
TMZ reports that Brinkley claims he may have lied to the police and his probation officer about his address, a speculation his legal team have since confirmed to be false, as the address he provided correlates with the address stated on his driver’s license.
One of Mill’s attorneys, Joe Tacopina, said the judgment would be appealed against after describing it as one that “continues her long pattern of unfair treatment”.
