Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, the former Guinness World Record breaker for the longest cooking marathon, has revealed an interesting preference when it comes to relationships.
In a podcast interview with Cocktails And Takeaways, Hilda Baci shared that she prefers a spouse who doesn’t know how to cook.
During the viral interview, Baci expressed her love for cooking and the joy she finds in preparing meals for people she cares about, especially her significant other.
She emphasized her desire for a man who appreciates her culinary skills by ordering food for her instead.
“I don’t want a man that knows how to cook. I don’t want it. I like cooking so much. My friends would tell you that Hilda would show you love, she would send you food. She will cook for you. That’s kind of one of the things I like to do for people that I care about, especially for my man,” Baci stated.
She continued, “You can wake me up in the middle of the night and say, ‘Babe, I want a doughnut. I want meat pie.’ And I’m flying to the kitchen to make it for you. That’s my thing. I want a man that can order me food. If you don’t have a problem with ordering me food, I’m in love.”
Hilda Baci gained international recognition earlier this year for breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, clocking an impressive 93 hours and 11 minutes. Despite losing the title to Alan Fosher, an Irish chef, she continues to be a culinary enthusiast with a unique perspective on love and relationships.
