Lucas Moura scored twice as Tottenham defeated Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford to heap more pressure on Jose Mourinho.
There were plenty of first-half chances for both sides with Romelu Lukaku failing to put the ball into an empty net from an acute angle, before Spurs had a good penalty shout turned down when Phil Jones seemed to commit a foul in the box.
The sides went in level at the break with both sides guilty of missing opportunities.
However, five minutes after the interval Tottenham were ahead. Kieran Trippier’s corner was superbly directed into the net by Harry Kane, who had peeled away from Phil Jones.
And then just two minutes later the visitors had doubled their lead. Trippier started the move down the right with a pass to Christian Eriksen, the Dane picked out Moura in the box and the Brazilian swept it into the bottom corner.
Kane then played in Moura on 85 minutes to seal the points with a cool finish past Hugo Lloris.
