Well, the new version of Telegram app V4.1 for iOS and Android devices comes with a bunch of new features.For iOS users, unlike before, now you get an improved experience while sharing from other apps. Also you can now add a comment while sharing and then share to more than one contact at once. Meanwhile, there are additional options when you 3D touch on the icon, such as taking a photo or video and sending it to contacts without opening the app.
For Android Users, you can now use Android Pay to pay for bot payments. The app also shows photos and videos together while sharing them through the app.
Another noticeable feature is for supergroup users. Supergroups can now have up to 10,000 users. Admins now have more granular controls, including selecting what other admins can do within the group, prevent certain users from performing certain tasks like sending messages, media, stickers, etc. (this is really interesting) within the group, and seeing what other admins have been up to in Recent Actions in the admins page.
More importantly, Telegram also added an option to set up your own proxy server as an anti-censorship tool.
