Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, Ondo state, on Friday, reversed the decision of the lower court on the impeachment of the former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Ali Olanusi.
Delivering the judgment, Justice Mohammed Danjuma said the impeachment process of Olanusi was not in accordance with the provisions of the law and said the lower court erred in upholding the impeachment of the former deputy governor.

He also ordered the immediate restoration of the rights and benefits due to Olanusi from the time of his removal from office to the period his tenure expired as the deputy governor of the state.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Ali Olanusi has hailed the judgment of the appellate court that quashes his impeachment as the deputy governor of Ondo State.
