Roberto Firmino missed Liverpool 5-0 victory against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League due to a minor groin injury.
The Brazilian professional footballer sustained a minor groin injury while training.
However, Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp revealed that the 27 years old trained with his teammate before the team flew out to Spain.
But, Klopp did not disclose how many minutes Firmino will play against Barcelona in the Champions League clash.
Speaking in an interview, Klopp said:
Bobby wants to [play] and the medical department told me ‘yes, it’s good’ but then you have to make sure – I’m not sure if 90 minutes or whatever.
So he doesn’t have to start, that’s why we start like we start. Bobby is on the bench, that’s good news.
