Arsenal are on the brink of completing a deal to sign CSKA Moscow star Aleksandr Golovin, according to reports in the Russian media.
The Sun is reporting that the Russian media appear to think the Gunners are on the verge of finalising a deal to sign the 21-year-old.
The same article states that Arsene Wenger is expected to spend in the region of £10m on his first summer signing.
According to the Sun , Arsenal’s move to sign Golovin has been confirmed by respected Russian journalist Ilya Kazakov.
Wenger reached an agreement to sign Sead Kolasinac from German side Schalke earlier this month as the Bosnian defender became Arsenal’s first summer signing.
The Gunners finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term to result in their demotion to the Europa League next term.
Arsenal did finish the 2016-17 campaign on a high note after the Gunners were 2-1 winners against Premier League champions Chelsea in the FA Cup final last month.
However, the north London side have not won the Premier League since their famous unbeaten triumph back in 2004.
