Antonio Reyes, the Former Arsenal player, has passed away on Saturday morning in a car accident aged 35.
The former Spanish professional footballer also played for Spanish giant, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Benfica.
Meanwhile, Arsenal football club, Thierry Henry, and Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos have sent their condolences to the Reyes family.
The Premier League club tweeted:
Everyone at Arsenal is devastated by the shocking news that our former player Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a traffic collision in Spain. Rest in peace, Jose.
Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry tweeted:
I’m devastated to hear the sad news about José Antonio Reyes. Wonderful player, superb teammate, and exceptional human being.
I wish his family and friends continued strength and courage to get through this difficult time.
Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, also tweeted:
