Another batch of stranded Nigerian migrants in Libya has arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Thursday evening.
The return of the 249 Nigerians was facilitated by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the European Union (EU).
The returnees arrived aboard an Afriqiyah Airbus A330-300 with Registration Number 5A-ONR.
They were received by officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
At least 3,000 Nigerians have voluntarily returned from the North African nation through the IOM supported programme in the last few months.
On Tuesday 387 of them returned from the volatile country where they had been stranded on their way to Europe.
